Polly want a cracker?




Have you read the Oct-Nov 2009 Mary Janes Farm magazine? On pages 82-85 you will find recipes for homemade crackers. The article caught my attention, so I tried baking the Gingerbread Crackers. They were very easy to mix up and roll out. I used my 1/8 inch cookie slats to roll an even layer of dough. Next time I bake these crackers, I will roll them even thinner. They have a great ginger cookie taste without all the sugar. I plan to bake the Basic Farmhouse Crackers next. Maybe I will replace the 2 teaspoons sugar with the sweet herb, stevia.
