I have been teaching beginning quilting classes at Tennessee Quilts these past months. And I need to come up with a direction in which to steer them for their next project. The nine-patch came to me in the night. It is one of the blocks they make in the beginning class. It has so many variations. I got up and started graphing some of the easy settings. Now, of course, I want to make a sample of each setting I've graphed!!

It's a winter wonderland out my window this morning. About 4 inches of wet snow fell during the night.
