I am sewing the "liverpool tunic" from an Amy Butler pattern. The pattern pieces are fitting together very nicely. I am impressed by how smoothly the sleeves set in. And I do mean "set in" and not sewn in the side seam and clipped under the arm. I was impressed that the pattern directed the sewer to do a French seam on the center back but was confused that the rest of the seams were raw edged? So, I sewed all the seams using the French seam, even the set in sleeves. There were alot of nice details, such as topstitching the many darts. I was surprised at how little trimming was done in the collar and collar stand. I think I am ready to teach the class next Saturday at TN Quilts. I have some options for the sewer. Hope you can join us.

My husband and I have no idea who won the Superbowl. We attended a Foot Ball in Jonesborough, TN and did alot of Contra dancing Sunday afternoon. You can google Contra dancing and see what it is all about. We were told contra is French for country. We just think it means FUN.
